The school was founded in 1936 by the joint action of the community and Don Jose de Jesus Castro, who donated the land for its construction. Since the school was created it is has been remodeled and reconstructed four times. The first school was made of wood and had two classrooms, but unfortunately, that school building was destroyed by strong winds. Then in 1980, the school went up in flames and along with it, all the teaching materials. In 2001, the remaining wood building was torn down, the infrastructure was improved and three classrooms were created. There is also a room for the principal, a small cafeteria and a flat concrete area where the old classrooms were previously located. Today the 72 students enrolled receive classes in these three rooms. The school operates on an annual budget of $3,200. The principal is Alis Matamoros Ruiz; the school address is contiguo a el EBAIS de Garza (next to the EBAIS of Garza).
